Overheard from the bathroom where Wren was playing with toys in the tub:

Wren: "Here, mermaid, rest yourself here."

Mermaid (high voice): "Lion! Come and lay on my tummy." (Lion does as told.) "There. You like that?"

Lion (deep voice): "Yes."

Mermaid: "Well you would, wouldn't you."
